Maharashtra Mandal, Los Angeles represents the Marathi-speaking community from Maharashtra, India. For the past 50 years, our mission has been to promote Marathi culture, literature and art within Los Angeles and the Greater LA area.

To celebrate and preserve Marathi culture, we organize a variety of cultural events such as Sankranti, Ganesh Utsav, Diwali, and Shravan Mahotsav. We also run Marathi Shala at five locations in LA and maintain a Marathi Book Library to nurture and promote Marathi literature for future geneations.

MMLA is dedicated to promoting Marathi art by inviting renowned personalities from the Marathi theater (Rangamanch) community in India to perform in the LA area. In addition, the mandal provides a platform for local artists to showcase their talent through plays, dance, and music. We support satellite events like Marathi movies to enrich our cultural offerings. Beyond the arts and literature our efforts extend to foster community building by organizing hikes, camping trips and picnics to connect and strengthen bonds.

Come, join us in celebrating आमची बोली, आमचा बाणा... जय महाराष्ट्र!!!
