Maharashta Mandal Los Angeles represents the Marathi speaking people of Maharashtra, India. Our Mission for the past 30 years is to promote Marathi culture, art and literature in the Greater Area.

To promote Marathi culture, we organize various cultural programs such as Sankrant, Ganesh Utsov, Diwali and Holi. To sustain and promote Marathi Literature we have been maintaning a Marathi Book Library. Also, starting this year we have added Marathi Videos (VCDs & DVDs) to our library.

To spread Marathi literature we have started a Marathi Podcast called Manthan, which features stories, articles, and poems from local authors.

We promote Marathi Art by inviting imminent personalities and Movie from India to perform in LA Area. We give platform for local artist to show case their talent by organizing One-act plays, dance and singing competitions and supporting satellite events like Gunadarshan. Apart from promoting Art, Literature and Culture, we bring Marathi community together by organizing social events like Camping Nights, Sports Day and Picnic.
